Jare Adeniji is a fully qualified member of, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has 25 years’ cognate experience in various capacities in both public and private sectors specifically in banking (Savannah and Diamond Bank), and several organizations in the United Kingdom. These include the Macmillan Cancer Support, the London Fire & Emergency Planning Authority, and the Network Rails as a Finance Business Partner. He was appointed in 2015 as Business Analyst, the Milton Keynes Council in England.

He holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Ibadan, and an M.Sc. in Information Systems from Edinburgh University, Scotland.

Josh Oyebisi

Joshua Oyebisi has 23 years of work experience in insurance and banking. He has functioned at various times as relationship officer and Profit Centre Manager at Industrial and General Insurance Co Ltd, Standard Trust Bank. He subsequently functioned as a manager at First Atlantic Bank, and First Inland Bank respectively.

He joined Fortis Mfb Plc in July 2013 as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for SME business in Abuja. He eventually came to supervise 14 branches and earned assets over N15bn, covering all 14 branches in Abuja. He functioned as a member of management at Fortis, and also on the Products Development Committee, the Implementation Committee as well as the Bank Credit Committee. He left Fortis in 2015.

Joshua Oyebisi is a roundly trained banker, having participated in courses in Deal Structuring Advanced Credit Course (2007), and Cost Reduction Strategies (2007). Foreign Exchange and International Operations course (2003), Analysis of Financial Statements and Budgets (2003), Leadership Development Skills Course – Brian Tracy International (2009) as well as Universal Banking and its implications at STB Faculty in conjunction with the Harvard Business School USA (2003). He also holds an MBA from Lautech University Ogbomosho and also the CBN MCP Certification for Micro Finance Practitioners, as well as certifications from the prestigious IE Business School Spain in Critical Perspectives in Management and Leadership. Holds certifications in delinquency management, credit administration, and management of mfis in the 3rd world. He is currently undergoing a combined MBA and Chartered Banker program at the University of Bangor Scotland, as well as the Chief Executives Program at the Lagos Business School.

He is a Fellow of the Microfinance Association, London, the Institute of credit administration Nigeria, the Institute of management consultants Nigeria and London. Some of the awards he has won include recognition as the Most Astute MD/CEO of the Year for Business Innovativeness and Tactical Management of the Nigeria Credit Industry Awards 2021 as well as recognition by The Guardian newspaper in 2022 as one of a few Nigerian business young leaders leading in financial intermediation services and as a model of competence and resourcefulness in its special Business Leaders edition. He also holds an honourary doctorate in business administration from Prowess University Delaware USA.

Mike Egboh

Mike Egboh is well known in the international development sector as a visionary leader, activist, pioneer, advocate, educator, and innovator of excellence.

He is a specialist in the healthcare development sector and currently a Principal Associate with Abts Associate Incorporated based in Bethesda, United States of America, and the National Programme Manager/Chief of Party of the UKaid (formerly DfID) biggest funded health project in the world, the State Lead Program, Partnership for Transforming Health Systems, Phase II (PATHS2), with a focus on transforming Nigeria’s Health system through astounds in service delivery and strides in governance.

He is the Country Representative for Pathfinder International in Nigeria and Ghana as well as the Senior Regional Development Associate for Sub Saharan Africa. He was responsible for building Pathfinder International Nigeria from zero funding in 1995 to over $120 million in 2008.

He has spearheaded pioneering programs in Family Planning, Reproductive, Maternal, and Child Health, HIV control, Health System Strengthening in Public/Private private sectors, and building capacity of individuals and organizations in Nigeria and Sub-Sahara Africa. He has outstanding credentials post-Harvard Public health training in International Health, Boston, MA.

He supported the institutional development and promoted NGO partners in Nigeria like Association for family and Reproductive Health (AFRH), Action Health International (AHI), Women’s Health and Action Committee (WHARC), Girls Power Initiatives, and has also provided support to similar programs in Ghana, Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and South Africa. As a result of his passion for women’s health and rights, he was recognized and invited by the American Public Health Association to be the only male Speaker at the 2001 conference in Atlanta on “WHO IS SPEAKING for THE WOMEN”.

He provided strategic leadership in implementing the very well-respected Ford Foundation International fellowship (IFP) programs for persons without systematic access to education.  He was awarded (by the International Jury) the highly competitive global award by Organon of Netherlands for the Year 1991.

With astounding interpersonal skills, he has developed an extensive network with multiple donors, private foundations, and governments at both local and international arenas, such as   USAID, DFID, CIDA, JICA, Packard, Ford, the MacArthur Foundations, and over 50 NGOs. He is widely consulted by development partners, government, CSOs’, organizations and peers, and colleagues that fondly call him the “DEAN” or the “DOYEN” of International development. He is a member of the American Public Health Association, the Global Health Council, African Peer Review Mechanism for NEPAD, Country Coordinating Mechanism for Global fund, the American Management Association, Committee on Repositioning of the FMOH as well as the Committee on Repositioning of National Orientation Agency (Federal Ministry of Information.

He presently also serves at the Head of Chemonics, USAID’s biggest health intervention fund on the continent of Africa, with a mandate to coordinate intervention of $1bn over the next 5 years in the health sector all over the continent.

Franklyn Akinyosoye

Member of the Board

Franklyn is a graduate of over 26 years.  He is a Fellow of the institute of management consultants) FIMC and is currently finalizing his PHD in Business Management from the Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Franklin has garnered a wealth of experience over the years in insurance and banking where he functioned at various times as Assistant Manager in Cornerstone Insurance Plc, Devcom Bank and also Standard Trust Bank Ltd. He was also General Manager/CEO at Consumer Micro Finance Bank, Abuja.

He started DIL Consulting, a consultancy firm of repute in Abuja, and has had the privilege to consult and train for various micro finance banks, mortgage institutions, SMES, FMCGs and Finance Houses.

He has also consulted for the World Bank and USAID on various projects, and also the DFID, CIDA, SMEDAN, NDE, NAPEP and NIPC. He served as an examiner for Youwin Project (the Federal Government business plan competition for approval of N10m grant for Nigerian Youths), and is currently on the review panel of USAID-NEXTT (USAID Nigeria Expanded Trade and transport).

Franklyn is an avid writer with several articles on strategy and management, to his name.

John Aond’Akaa Abwa

John Abwa is the Founder and CEO of Compton Projects Ltd, a foremost indigenous architectural firm set up to take the standards of architectural design in Africa to new levels of excellence.

He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Jos, and an M.Sc. (Arch.) from the same institution. He is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. He is certified in Project Leadership in Construction from the Cranfield University School of Management in the UK.

He collaborates seamlessly across continents with professionals from several countries such as Spain, Great Britain, the USA, Poland, China, Ghana, Curacao, Sri-Lanka, Pakistan to mention but a few.

Bukoye Ayoola

Bukoye Ayoola has had 13 years of work experience in pension, PTSP, and banking. He has functioned at various times as relationship officer, relationship Manager, and Branch Manager in Fortis Microfinance Bank. He was also a relationship manager in fidelity bank and a backup branch manager in FCMB.

He joined Fortis Mfb Plc. in January 2008 as Relationship Manager, in August 2008, he was appointed as a pioneer branch manager of Kubwa Abuja branch of the bank. He perform excellently well in this position until his transfer to the head office of the bank in April 2011 as the head retail banking unit. He was subsequently transferred to the Gudu Abuja business office of the bank in June 2011 as the turnaround branch manager. He was able to turn around the branch in just 60days of his resumption and the branch was one of the most profitable branches of the bank.

He resigned from his appointment with the bank in January 2014 for a career progression and went into a private consulting business and later was employed by BRINQ Africa Payment solutions ltd a CBN payment terminal service provider (PTSP) as the business development manager where he deliver key accounts for the organizations like Firstbank, Unity Bank, Heritage bank, Fcmb, Fortis MFB plc, etc.

He later moved to fidelity bank in April 2015 and subsequently moved to FCMB as a Back up to the branch manager in July 2015 where he managed high-profile account like premium pension account and fortis MFB. He joined the management team of mutual trust MFB as the group head business development group where he has direct responsibility for all staff members in the group. He came on board with his wealth of experience in both Microfinance and commercial banking experience.

Gbenga Omotoyinbo

Gbenga Omotoyinbo is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the bank. Gbenga has extensive experience spanning about 10 years in Audit, Internal Control, Strategic Management, Accounting, Finance, and Treasury Management.

He was previously the Head of the Treasury Reconciliation Unit at Fortis MFB Plc. 2014 to 2016. He commenced his banking career in 2011 having had a stint with Mainstreet Bank Limited (Former Afribank) as a financial control officer. He proceeded to join Evans Dirisu & Co (Chartered Accountants) in 2012, where he undertook several assignments such as:

-Bank Transactions Audit Review of NNPC/SPDC/TEPNG/NAOC JV Account for the years 2008 and 2009.

-Trial Marketing Period Revenue Verification of SNEPCO OML 118 (Dec 2005 – June 2006)

-Bank Transactions Audit Review of NNPC/SPDC/TEPNG/NAOC JV Account 2012

-Review of Inter–Depot Products Lifting at Port Harcourt Depot for the year 2012

Mr. Omotoyinbo graduated in 2009 with a Second Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado Ekiti, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Nassarawa State University, Keffi.

Gbenga Adetola

Gbenga is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Nigerian Bar Association with several years of experience at the mid and senior management level of a corporate law practice with the financial services, telecoms, and oil and gas sectors.

He has functional experience in company secretarial and legal advisory roles. Gbenga has hands-on experience in the areas of human capital management and general administration. He is skilled in the areas of debt portfolio management and recovery, regulatory compliance, general litigation management, and alternative dispute resolution.

Babatunde Alabi

Babatunde Alabi is the Head of Credit Risk Management at Mutual Trust Microfinance Bank, Abuja. He is a graduate of Business Administration from The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from National Teachers Institute affiliated with Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto.

An avid banker by passion, He is a dedicated analyst with great reasoning skills, good initiative, and task execution skills with a positive attitude.

His professional qualifications include Microfinance Training of Trainers (MFTOT), Microfinance Certified Banker (CIBN), Certified Expert in Microfinance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany, Microfinance Certified Banker (CIBN).

He holds several professional memberships such as Risk Management Association of Nigeria (Associate member RIMAN), Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (ACILRM), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (Member CIBN).

In his professional career, he has attended a lot of training such as Risk Management and Internal Control system, Introduction to the Area Management structure, Non-performing loans portfolio and its effect on Bank profitability in Nigeria, Creating Access to Clean Energy Through Microfinancing, Motivation in a Depressed Market and Incremental Business.

Babatunde has held various positions in his career, which include Team lead, Credit Admin, Documentation, Loan Monitoring Officer, and Credit Officer amongst others.

He is a good team player and leader. He spearheaded a team that developed the Fortis Micro Credit Model and contributed to the design and development of its core banking application.

He is self-motivated, creative, target-oriented, and a goal-getter.

Odiaka Gerald

Odiaka Gerald is a chartered accountant with over a decade of banking experience in auditing, compliance, and investigation. He started his banking career in United Bank For Africa Plc (UBA) in 2006 as a Resident Internal control Officer.

He also worked as the Head of Internal Contol & Compliance in Josad Microfinance Bank Limited Nasarawa and at Lawyers Microfinance Bank Limited, Abuja respectively.

He is a member of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a fellow of the Institute Of Chartered Economist Of Nigeria. He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Nasarawa State University Keffi.

He is happily married with Children.

Omotola Balogun

Omotola Balogun is the Head of the Operations department at Mutual Trust Microfinance Bank Limited.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Nasarawa State University. Higher National Diploma in Business Administration & Management from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa. She also has a diploma in Marketing and Mass Communications respectively. Omotola is currently studying master’s in Business Administration University of East London.

She holds 12 years of experience in the banking sector with Intercontinental Bank ( Now Access Bank) being the first in her career path. She has worked with Fortis Microfinance Bank as the backup, Head of Operations. She was also a team member of the CBN IMC reconciliation team, a team member of the Orbit R Crack Team, and a team member of the SMART Campaign (CPP) client protection principles certification.

She has equally worked with YIAGA AFRICA as an Election Expert Master Trainer and as a data center analyst in the 2019 Presidential Election.

Isaiah Omede

Isaiah Omede is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 23 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial sectors. He possesses a strong foundation in accounting combined with analytical prowess and exceptional problem-solving skills. Isaiah leverages this expertise to drive increased profitability and efficiency within any organization or team.

He holds several Educational qualifications and certifications such as:

Daily review and monitoring of transactions to detect suspicious activities, constant monitoring of politically and financially exposed persons, and overseeing global partner compliance.

From 2004 – 2020, Isaiah worked as an Area Compliance Officer, Cluster Control Officer, and Resident Control Officer for First Bank Nigeria Ltd. He Managed compliance within a cluster of 10 branches, ensuring alignment with CBN Circulars and Board policy directions. Conducted daily reviews, monitored customers’ classes, and reviewed money transfers to mitigate inherent risks. He oversaw bank operations in compliance with internal policies and procedures and Implemented a Risk-Based Audit approach to highlight deviations and prompt corrective actions.

From 1996 – 2001, He worked as a Senior Auditor for KPMG. He was responsible for leading Audit Assignments across the spectrum of the economy e.g. Banks, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Insurance, NGOs, UNDP, PPMC, NNPC, and NAPIMS. He also assisted with Audit assignments, Consultancy, Tax Advisory Services, Accountancy, Receiverships jobs, and debt recovery.
